Recertification is non-negotiable and continuous — we have maintained perfect certification records since the company's founding in 2016.
Insurance and accountability that protect you. 805 LifeGuard carries $1,000,000 general liability insurance per occurrence, with $5,000,000 excess liability coverage available for HOA partnerships and higher-profile engagements. We are California licensed and professionally bonded. All personnel are background-checked and security-cleared. Certificates of insurance are available on request for any HOA board, estate manager, event venue, or insurance underwriter that requires documentation.

How far in advance should I book event coverage?
Las Vegas summers are our peak season — we recommend booking event coverage at least two weeks in advance from April through September, and earlier for major weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) Holiday weekends fill quickly.
Do you publish pricing?
We do not publish pricing publicly. Every engagement begins with a private consultation, where we discuss your situation, your pool, your needs, and the appropriate service level. We provide transparent pricing during that conversation. This approach reflects the bespoke nature of our services — there isn't a single "swim lesson price" or "event coverage price" because no two engagements are identical.
Who actually answers when I call?
You reach 805 LifeGuard's founder, Jasper van der Zwaan, or a member of the small team Jasper has trained personally. We do not use call centers, automated dispatch systems, or third-party booking platforms. Every inquiry is handled by someone who can speak directly to the service.
